Sign of the Times
This picture was painted on a high raised building within a week in December at temperatures below zero in Hamburg Bergedorf.
The largest housing society in Hamburg – SAGA – wanted to set a positive sign in the otherwise rather discriminated district.
The painting describes one of the oldest human phenomenon of wanting to leave signs… People always hat the desire to leave visible marks starting with cave paintings in the Stone Age to today’s graffiti paintings and walls and trains.
