The Author
Born in Germany in 1968, Darco was raised in the Paris suburbs where, at the beginning of the 80s, he became interested in Graffiti and he quickly developed a personal style that was in many ways similar to “3D” graphic art notably in the way he outlined his work. A Graffiti pioneer in France, he specialised in lettering, and quickly became a trend-setter for a whole generation of European artists.
A leading-light in the Graffiti world, Darco was one of the first writers to vindicate and assume total responsibility for his status as artist/author.
